The design of the table system fell into the responsibility of the design team LUCY.D. Their underlying idea was to connect optical lightness with functional understatement, without forgoing elegancy and top quality. Among other things, the two designers were inspired by simple contemplation rooms and static support systems such as columns or pillars.
With pulse, Wiesner-Hager has created a modular conference table system that offers a multitude of different configurations – large or small, a block, and an open or closed circle. The central leg frame is available with X-, C- or T- legs and thus offers maximum legroom at any time.
pulse’s intelligent functions are not intrusive, but they are on call when needed. For example, the newly developed cable management: The cabling is invisible, hidden in the supporting column and the permanently integrated horizontal cable duct. The latter can be used on two levels – in its original function for housing cables and plug-ins of media boxes; or with drop-in trays that can be used for writing utensils, plants, beverages or snacks: pulse as a source of energy – for people and technology.
