GASK: A Space for Art, Dialogue, and Experiences

The Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region (GASK) is located in the historic Jesuit College in Kutná Hora, which has been carefully renovated and transformed into a modern cultural institution. GASK combines historical context with contemporary art and offers visitors exhibitions, educational programs, community events, and spaces for relaxation. The permanent exhibition Labyrinth presents a selection of works from the gallery’s collections, complemented by thematic exhibitions reflecting current social issues.

The complex includes a café, bookstore, design shop, educational center, and visual playrooms for children. GASK is an open space for dialogue between art, the public, and professionals. At the same time, the gallery positions itself as a venue for conferences, lectures, and social events – offering both historical and modern spaces equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

For this project, Wiesner-Hager supplied puc chairs and yuno tables. puc chairs were chosen for their simplicity, versatility, and ease of movement – ideal for the gallery’s multifunctional spaces, where different types of events frequently alternate, from lectures to community gatherings. yuno tables allow quick and flexible space arrangements for workshops, presentations, and social events. Thanks to their stackability and easy handling, they support the dynamic operation of the gallery and contribute to the comfort of visitors and organizers. Together, these elements create an environment that is open, adaptable, and ready to meet the diverse needs of a cultural institution.
