Wiesner-Hager at ORGATEC: Rethinking the office.
Europe’s most important office furniture trade fair ORGATEC opened its doors in Cologne from 25 to 29 October. Over 600 companies in the international office furnishings industry met with around 50,000 trade visitors. Austrian exhibitors were thereby a rarity. As the only Austrian office furniture manufacturer Wiesner-Hager was represented with its own stand at the leading trade show for the modern working world. The specialist for office furniture, office consulting and interior design exhibited product innovations in Cologne, which point towards the future of the new working world.
Wiesner-Hager intensively deals with these ‘New Work’ topics. For Markus Wiesner, Managing Director of Wiesner-Hager, the five-day major event in Cologne was consequently Europe’s most important industry date this year: “Work and communication noticeably take place between the poles of productivity and emotion. There in Cologne we showed the international trade audience our elements for ‘New Work’ – flexible environments, which offer innovative frameworks for various tasks in the office working and living space.” And Wiesner continues: “Specifically: Rigid room structures are rapidly dissolving, requirements are increasingly oriented to the activities. The ways in which Wiesner-Hager is rethinking the office also give customers a decisive competitive edge. Our experience shows that with the right concept the staff’s motivation and hence also the company’s productivity can be sustainably increased.”
With its strong international orientation – its export share amounts to 56 percent - Wiesner-Hager holds a special position in the Austrian office furniture industry. That was also demonstrated by the fact that Wiesner-Hager was the only Austrian office furniture maker represented with its own stand at ORGATEC.
