Synchro-mechanism allowing quick lateral adjustment of the spring tension to suit individual requirements.
Freedom of movement in a dynamic form: This tried-and-tested mechanism accommodates a weight range of 40 to 120 kg. The backrest pressure can be adjusted precisely to suit individual body weight in just a few turns, ensuring that the seat and backrest are finely tuned to each other. The seating dynamics inherent in the mechanical design promote micro-movements of the spine, thereby stimulating the supply of nutrients to the intervertebral discs. This mechanical design is also available with an optional seat tilt adjustment feature (3° forward tilt).
Synchro-mechanism with automatic weight adjustment.
In practice, individual adjustment options are frequently ignored or used incorrectly. This is why Wiesner-Hager is also offering a synchro-mechanism for the paro_3 that automatically adjusts to weights between 40 and 120 kg. A load-dependent mechanism reacts to the user's body weight when they sit down, automatically adjusting the backrest pressure and creating an intuitive sitting experience. Those who want a slightly different, individual backrest pressure can also make additional adjustments using the fine tuning feature. The mechanism is also particularly well suited for workstations that are frequently used by multiple individuals, without sacrificing ergonomics.
24/7 synchro-mechanism.
Another variant is the 24/7 synchro-mechanism. This was specially developed for above-average demands resulting from round-the-clock use – such as in shift work in control rooms. Thanks to the enhanced spring tension adjustment and a selection of particularly durable fabrics, the 24/7 office chair can also support weights of up to 180 kg. Yet, the typical appearance of the paro_3 product family remains unchanged. The side-mounted quick adjustment of the spring tension also ensures optimum ergonomics for the 24/7 synchro-mechanism.
A new look for paro: More versatility – greater creative freedom.
paro_3 offers a remarkably wide range of design options: one particular highlight is the variety of backrests available. These feature a modern, dimensionally stable mesh back in three colourways and, on request, a distinctive 3D mesh with designer quilting. Alternatively, the backrest is also available as an upholstered version to match the seat cover, with a wide range of fabrics and colours from the entire Wiesner-Hager collection to choose from. The upholstered backrest version is also available with an eye-catching quilted design on request.
The ergonomically shaped black membrane seat is padded with a 50 mm layer of cut foam – soft and dimensionally stable, offering a high level of comfort. Should a classically upholstered seat be the preferred option, the complete range of Wiesner-Hager fabrics is available for selection.
A variety of armrest options in 2D and 4D designs featuring a comfortable arm pad, an elegant plastic or metal swivel base and an optional neck support round off the wide range of configurations available for paro_3, guaranteeing maximum freedom of design.

3rd life – ready for refurbishment: Worn-out paro_3 models can be professionally refurbished. This saves valuable resources and helps to reduce CO₂ emissions.
