Digitalisation has brought changes in the banking sector. With online banking now almost exclusively used, visits to bank branches are becoming less frequent and customer loyalty more difficult to maintain. What helps is making the locations more attractive in combination with new sales concepts. Traditional branches are becoming modern service and advisory hubs, offering barrier-free services with state-of-the-art equipment.
Raiffeisen is a prime example of contemporary bank branch design. The locations are gradually being modernised and adapted to the latest standards. Wiesner-Hager was entrusted with the furnishing of selected regional bank projects.
Even the entrance area impresses with its minimalist interior. Where there used to be metres-long bank counters, there is now a modern reception area. Conference rooms with multimedia technology enable technology-supported consultations and meetings. The offices are minimalist and functional. Design and corporate identity run like a common thread through the rooms. Sterile waiting areas are finally a thing of the past. Cosy lounge areas invite visitors to spend any waiting time on comfortable upholstered furniture.
Completely new location concepts can also breathe new life into a space: for example, a co-working space has been integrated into the Ried im Innkreis branch. External visitors can also rent space in the newly designed office. This makes the location a modern place for collaboration.
